Grown in the Bowe-Lees vineyard in the Adelaide Hills area of Clare Valley, the vines are planted on south-facing slopes at an elevation of around 390m. All fruit is hand picked, whole-bunch pressed and split between 85% stainless inoculated fermentation and 15% neutral barrique indigenous fermentation. Once dry, the wine is stabilised and bottled.
Arneis 'Eternal Return'
- Adelaide HIlls, Australia
Method & Production
Rich nose yet with tension and minerals, savoury hints and aromas of peach pannacotta with herbal notes. The palate is rich with a creamy mouth feel, white stone fruit combines with minerals and fresh herbs. Dry finish with mineral acidity and powerful, persistent length.
Antipassi as well as light fish dishes or rissoto bianco would be lovely paired with this Arneis!
