Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses

  • La Chablisienne
  • Bourgogne, France

Method & Production

Cold settling before fermentation. Both yeast and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel tanks and small barrels. Maturing: 20 months on fine lees, in tanks and small barrels.

Tasting notes

Limpid and brilliant wine with pale golden colour. The fine, elegant bouquet opens with a blend of flowers, oakiness soft spice and yellow-fleshed fruit. On aeration the density intensifies while revealing a fresh mineral note. Outstanding aromatic persistence. Substantial, finely mineral and very harmonious in the mouth, yet racy and tense. The finish is very long and pure. The expression of a great terroir with excellent cellaring potential.
