Method & Production

This project was born in 2003, selecting a particular vineyard and making a severe choice of his “low producted” Merlot grapes .The harvest has been made very late and than the grapes have been partially dried on the racks for 1 month . The grapes were separated from the stems, then left to ferment, and subsequently macerate for about twenty days. The wine was drawn off the lees and then aged for 15 months in small american oak barrels.

Complex and fat but juicy like always. Perfect for a long, loooong ageing!
