Method & Production

Grapes from two vineyards situated in in-land Sicily are blended to make this wine. Some come from Pietralunga which is located in the stunning Monreale 500metres above sea level, and the others originate from Giambascio in San Giuseppe Jato 400metres above sea level. Both vineyards are managed organically with yields of 9 tonnes per hectare.
The grapes follow an organic training method, undergoing Guyot pruning and are harvested by hand in early September.

The wine is dedicated to the memory of Mafia victims and to those who actively demonstrate opposition to Sicilian criminal organisations through their work and on a daily basis.

Tasting notes

A straw yellow white wine which is both precise and delicate. Perfumed herbal notes of hawthorne and thyme complement the chalky, mineral base on the nose, whilst the palate both reflects these flavours and offers fresh acidity mixed with a pleasant, almost savoury finish.

Food matching

Most starters can be happily complemented by this white, while pasta whith seafood is a highly successful pairing.
