The vineyard 'Poggio della Costa' is in the comune of Civitella d'Agliano and covers a surface of 7 hecatres, facing east at an altitude of 140metres above sea level. The Grechetto grapes are soft pressed, with preventive purifying of the must at low temperatures Deliberately slow fermentation at controlled temperature (18/20° C.) is conducted for 15/25 days. The wine is maturation in stainless steel tanks on its own lees until the end March and depending on harvests, it is bottled in March or April.

Method & Production
Rich golden yellow colour. During first month there are flavours of flowers and exotic fruits (pineapple). In late summer a pleasing aromatic bouquet, full and fruity, perfectly blending taste and smell.
Goes well with savoury dishes such as lasagne, spaghetti "alla carbonara" and "amatriciana", beans and cheek-pea soup; and of course fish dishes. The wine will respond well to a few years of aging, but it perfectly delicious to drink now.
