			'teaser' => 'Antonio Galloni admires the exceptional artisan Barolo producer Ettore Germano from Piedmont, in an enviable report which rewards all wines tasted with an outstanding 90 points or more.',
			'content' => '<p>It was clear even from early on that for most of the big Barolo producers, the 2010 vintage promised to be a spectacular example of this Nebbiolo beast of Piemontese wine. Highly respected wine journalist Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media has recently updated his report now that the late-bottled 2010 Barolos have reached release, and his redefinition of 2010 as &lsquo;one of the all-time great vintages&rsquo; certainly bodes well for &lsquo;Italy&rsquo;s most noble red&rsquo;. At Astrum, we are delighted that his report not only covers Ettore Germano, one of our remarkable producers of Barolo, but pays tribute to the family as an emerging artisan producer to watch very closely in the years to come. According to Galloni&rsquo;s Vinous Media point system, he classified the 6 wines tasted as follows: <br /> <br /> 2010 Barolo Serralunga <strong>(90)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Cerretta <strong>(93)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Prap&ograve;<strong> (94)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(91-93)</strong><br /> 2009 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(92)</strong><br /> 2008 Barolo Lazzarito<strong> (90)</strong><br /> <br /> We currently stock the 2010 Serralunga and the 2010 Cerretta at Astrum (along with various other vintages of the wines listed above and indeed, other wines produced by Germano), and were therefore also thrilled with Galloni&rsquo;s written notes on these two wines. He describes the Serralunga, whose lifted aromatics consist of crushed flowers, red berries, tobacco and anise, as a gorgeous example of the firm tannins Serralunga is known for. Meanwhile, the aromas of smoke, tobacco, earthiness and iron in the Cerretta combine to make a &lsquo;distinctly ferrous and earthy&rsquo; Barolo with &lsquo;considerable mid-palate depth and power&rsquo;. The awards seemed endless for Massimo di Lenardo at the first ever Pinot Grigio International Challenge in Corno di Rosazzo near Udine, Friuli, this June.&nbsp;<br /><br />The competing wines came from over Italy&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 1.4;">(Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Alto Adige, Trentino, Sicilia), France, Austria, South Africa, Australia and the USA. Renamed 'Winebledon', the judging took place much like a series of tennis matches; the wines directly battling it out in pairs, and following a tournament structure.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.4;">The Challenge also held conferences over the commercial challenges presented to Pinot Grigio on the current world market, the reasons for its immense popularity and the ways in which its image may be improved.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>Di Lenardo's 'Gossip' is made from&nbsp;Pinot Grigio grapes which have spent 18 hours fermenting in contact with their skins; enough time to achieve a beautiful, coppery hue otherwise known as 'Ramato'. The wine then stays on the lees until bottling. This delicious wine's luscious<span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;aromas include both fresh red fruits and aromatic dried fruits with delightful additional notes of wild flower meadows, hay and almonds. Di Lenardo has achieved a delicate balance of robust fruit and crisp acidity, characterising the complex palate with flavours that mirror the wine&rsquo;s bouquet.</span></p>

The last couple of years has therefore seen our selection of spirits producers grow to a more eclectic, highly sought-after mix which has become a branch of the Astrum portfolio in its own right. Hence the creation of a separate <strong>Bar List</strong>, dedicated solely to the spirits and liqueurs we offer. We hope that separating the Bar-orientated products from the wines,&nbsp; will make browsing the catalogue and website easier and more efficient for our Bar clients, whilst also giving the spirits and liqueurs the recognition they deserve&hellip; <br /> <br /> It is perhaps due to such a vibrant gastronomical and enological culture, that Italy&rsquo;s fascinating ancient tradition of spirits and liqueurs is often overlooked. But as early as the 13th Century, liqueurs were made in convents and monasteries&nbsp; and used as herbal remedies and medicines. 			'teaser' => 'Antonio Galloni admires the exceptional artisan Barolo producer Ettore Germano from Piedmont, in an enviable report which rewards all wines tasted with an outstanding 90 points or more.',
			'content' => '<p>It was clear even from early on that for most of the big Barolo producers, the 2010 vintage promised to be a spectacular example of this Nebbiolo beast of Piemontese wine. Highly respected wine journalist Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media has recently updated his report now that the late-bottled 2010 Barolos have reached release, and his redefinition of 2010 as &lsquo;one of the all-time great vintages&rsquo; certainly bodes well for &lsquo;Italy&rsquo;s most noble red&rsquo;. At Astrum, we are delighted that his report not only covers Ettore Germano, one of our remarkable producers of Barolo, but pays tribute to the family as an emerging artisan producer to watch very closely in the years to come. According to Galloni&rsquo;s Vinous Media point system, he classified the 6 wines tasted as follows: <br /> <br /> 2010 Barolo Serralunga <strong>(90)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Cerretta <strong>(93)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Prap&ograve;<strong> (94)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(91-93)</strong><br /> 2009 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(92)</strong><br /> 2008 Barolo Lazzarito<strong> (90)</strong><br /> <br /> We currently stock the 2010 Serralunga and the 2010 Cerretta at Astrum (along with various other vintages of the wines listed above and indeed, other wines produced by Germano), and were therefore also thrilled with Galloni&rsquo;s written notes on these two wines. He describes the Serralunga, whose lifted aromatics consist of crushed flowers, red berries, tobacco and anise, as a gorgeous example of the firm tannins Serralunga is known for. Meanwhile, the aromas of smoke, tobacco, earthiness and iron in the Cerretta combine to make a &lsquo;distinctly ferrous and earthy&rsquo; Barolo with &lsquo;considerable mid-palate depth and power&rsquo;. The awards seemed endless for Massimo di Lenardo at the first ever Pinot Grigio International Challenge in Corno di Rosazzo near Udine, Friuli, this June.&nbsp;<br /><br />The competing wines came from over Italy&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 1.4;">(Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Alto Adige, Trentino, Sicilia), France, Austria, South Africa, Australia and the USA. Renamed 'Winebledon', the judging took place much like a series of tennis matches; the wines directly battling it out in pairs, and following a tournament structure.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.4;">The Challenge also held conferences over the commercial challenges presented to Pinot Grigio on the current world market, the reasons for its immense popularity and the ways in which its image may be improved.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>Di Lenardo's 'Gossip' is made from&nbsp;Pinot Grigio grapes which have spent 18 hours fermenting in contact with their skins; enough time to achieve a beautiful, coppery hue otherwise known as 'Ramato'. The wine then stays on the lees until bottling. This delicious wine's luscious<span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;aromas include both fresh red fruits and aromatic dried fruits with delightful additional notes of wild flower meadows, hay and almonds. 		'content' => '<p>It was clear even from early on that for most of the big Barolo producers, the 2010 vintage promised to be a spectacular example of this Nebbiolo beast of Piemontese wine. Highly respected wine journalist Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media has recently updated his report now that the late-bottled 2010 Barolos have reached release, and his redefinition of 2010 as &lsquo;one of the all-time great vintages&rsquo; certainly bodes well for &lsquo;Italy&rsquo;s most noble red&rsquo;. At Astrum, we are delighted that his report not only covers Ettore Germano, one of our remarkable producers of Barolo, but pays tribute to the family as an emerging artisan producer to watch very closely in the years to come. According to Galloni&rsquo;s Vinous Media point system, he classified the 6 wines tasted as follows: <br /> <br /> 2010 Barolo Serralunga <strong>(90)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Cerretta <strong>(93)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Prap&ograve;<strong> (94)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(91-93)</strong><br /> 2009 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(92)</strong><br /> 2008 Barolo Lazzarito<strong> (90)</strong><br /> <br /> We currently stock the 2010 Serralunga and the 2010 Cerretta at Astrum (along with various other vintages of the wines listed above and indeed, other wines produced by Germano), and were therefore also thrilled with Galloni&rsquo;s written notes on these two wines. He describes the Serralunga, whose lifted aromatics consist of crushed flowers, red berries, tobacco and anise, as a gorgeous example of the firm tannins Serralunga is known for. Meanwhile, the aromas of smoke, tobacco, earthiness and iron in the Cerretta combine to make a &lsquo;distinctly ferrous and earthy&rsquo; Barolo with &lsquo;considerable mid-palate depth and power&rsquo;. 			'teaser' => 'Antonio Galloni admires the exceptional artisan Barolo producer Ettore Germano from Piedmont, in an enviable report which rewards all wines tasted with an outstanding 90 points or more.',
			'content' => '<p>It was clear even from early on that for most of the big Barolo producers, the 2010 vintage promised to be a spectacular example of this Nebbiolo beast of Piemontese wine. Highly respected wine journalist Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media has recently updated his report now that the late-bottled 2010 Barolos have reached release, and his redefinition of 2010 as &lsquo;one of the all-time great vintages&rsquo; certainly bodes well for &lsquo;Italy&rsquo;s most noble red&rsquo;. At Astrum, we are delighted that his report not only covers Ettore Germano, one of our remarkable producers of Barolo, but pays tribute to the family as an emerging artisan producer to watch very closely in the years to come. According to Galloni&rsquo;s Vinous Media point system, he classified the 6 wines tasted as follows: <br /> <br /> 2010 Barolo Serralunga <strong>(90)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Cerretta <strong>(93)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Prap&ograve;<strong> (94)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(91-93)</strong><br /> 2009 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(92)</strong><br /> 2008 Barolo Lazzarito<strong> (90)</strong><br /> <br /> We currently stock the 2010 Serralunga and the 2010 Cerretta at Astrum (along with various other vintages of the wines listed above and indeed, other wines produced by Germano), and were therefore also thrilled with Galloni&rsquo;s written notes on these two wines. He describes the Serralunga, whose lifted aromatics consist of crushed flowers, red berries, tobacco and anise, as a gorgeous example of the firm tannins Serralunga is known for. Meanwhile, the aromas of smoke, tobacco, earthiness and iron in the Cerretta combine to make a &lsquo;distinctly ferrous and earthy&rsquo; Barolo with &lsquo;considerable mid-palate depth and power&rsquo;. The awards seemed endless for Massimo di Lenardo at the first ever Pinot Grigio International Challenge in Corno di Rosazzo near Udine, Friuli, this June.&nbsp;<br /><br />The competing wines came from over Italy&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 1.4;">(Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Alto Adige, Trentino, Sicilia), France, Austria, South Africa, Australia and the USA. Renamed 'Winebledon', the judging took place much like a series of tennis matches; the wines directly battling it out in pairs, and following a tournament structure.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.4;">The Challenge also held conferences over the commercial challenges presented to Pinot Grigio on the current world market, the reasons for its immense popularity and the ways in which its image may be improved.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>Di Lenardo's 'Gossip' is made from&nbsp;Pinot Grigio grapes which have spent 18 hours fermenting in contact with their skins; enough time to achieve a beautiful, coppery hue otherwise known as 'Ramato'. The wine then stays on the lees until bottling. This delicious wine's luscious<span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;aromas include both fresh red fruits and aromatic dried fruits with delightful additional notes of wild flower meadows, hay and almonds. Di Lenardo has achieved a delicate balance of robust fruit and crisp acidity, characterising the complex palate with flavours that mirror the wine&rsquo;s bouquet.</span></p>

The last couple of years has therefore seen our selection of spirits producers grow to a more eclectic, highly sought-after mix which has become a branch of the Astrum portfolio in its own right. Hence the creation of a separate <strong>Bar List</strong>, dedicated solely to the spirits and liqueurs we offer. We hope that separating the Bar-orientated products from the wines,&nbsp; will make browsing the catalogue and website easier and more efficient for our Bar clients, whilst also giving the spirits and liqueurs the recognition they deserve&hellip; <br /> <br /> It is perhaps due to such a vibrant gastronomical and enological culture, that Italy&rsquo;s fascinating ancient tradition of spirits and liqueurs is often overlooked. But as early as the 13th Century, liqueurs were made in convents and monasteries&nbsp; and used as herbal remedies and medicines. 			'content' => '<p>It was clear even from early on that for most of the big Barolo producers, the 2010 vintage promised to be a spectacular example of this Nebbiolo beast of Piemontese wine. Highly respected wine journalist Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media has recently updated his report now that the late-bottled 2010 Barolos have reached release, and his redefinition of 2010 as &lsquo;one of the all-time great vintages&rsquo; certainly bodes well for &lsquo;Italy&rsquo;s most noble red&rsquo;. At Astrum, we are delighted that his report not only covers Ettore Germano, one of our remarkable producers of Barolo, but pays tribute to the family as an emerging artisan producer to watch very closely in the years to come. According to Galloni&rsquo;s Vinous Media point system, he classified the 6 wines tasted as follows: <br /> <br /> 2010 Barolo Serralunga <strong>(90)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Cerretta <strong>(93)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Prap&ograve;<strong> (94)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(91-93)</strong><br /> 2009 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(92)</strong><br /> 2008 Barolo Lazzarito<strong> (90)</strong><br /> <br /> We currently stock the 2010 Serralunga and the 2010 Cerretta at Astrum (along with various other vintages of the wines listed above and indeed, other wines produced by Germano), and were therefore also thrilled with Galloni&rsquo;s written notes on these two wines. He describes the Serralunga, whose lifted aromatics consist of crushed flowers, red berries, tobacco and anise, as a gorgeous example of the firm tannins Serralunga is known for. Meanwhile, the aromas of smoke, tobacco, earthiness and iron in the Cerretta combine to make a &lsquo;distinctly ferrous and earthy&rsquo; Barolo with &lsquo;considerable mid-palate depth and power&rsquo;. The awards seemed endless for Massimo di Lenardo at the first ever Pinot Grigio International Challenge in Corno di Rosazzo near Udine, Friuli, this June.&nbsp;<br /><br />The competing wines came from over Italy&nbsp;<span style="line-height: 1.4;">(Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto, Alto Adige, Trentino, Sicilia), France, Austria, South Africa, Australia and the USA. Renamed 'Winebledon', the judging took place much like a series of tennis matches; the wines directly battling it out in pairs, and following a tournament structure.&nbsp;</span><span style="line-height: 1.4;">The Challenge also held conferences over the commercial challenges presented to Pinot Grigio on the current world market, the reasons for its immense popularity and the ways in which its image may be improved.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p>Di Lenardo's 'Gossip' is made from&nbsp;Pinot Grigio grapes which have spent 18 hours fermenting in contact with their skins; enough time to achieve a beautiful, coppery hue otherwise known as 'Ramato'. The wine then stays on the lees until bottling. This delicious wine's luscious<span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;aromas include both fresh red fruits and aromatic dried fruits with delightful additional notes of wild flower meadows, hay and almonds. Di Lenardo has achieved a delicate balance of robust fruit and crisp acidity, characterising the complex palate with flavours that mirror the wine&rsquo;s bouquet.</span></p>

			'teaser' => 'Antonio Galloni admires the exceptional artisan Barolo producer Ettore Germano from Piedmont, in an enviable report which rewards all wines tasted with an outstanding 90 points or more.',
			'content' => '<p>It was clear even from early on that for most of the big Barolo producers, the 2010 vintage promised to be a spectacular example of this Nebbiolo beast of Piemontese wine. Highly respected wine journalist Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media has recently updated his report now that the late-bottled 2010 Barolos have reached release, and his redefinition of 2010 as &lsquo;one of the all-time great vintages&rsquo; certainly bodes well for &lsquo;Italy&rsquo;s most noble red&rsquo;. At Astrum, we are delighted that his report not only covers Ettore Germano, one of our remarkable producers of Barolo, but pays tribute to the family as an emerging artisan producer to watch very closely in the years to come. According to Galloni&rsquo;s Vinous Media point system, he classified the 6 wines tasted as follows: <br /> <br /> 2010 Barolo Serralunga <strong>(90)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Cerretta <strong>(93)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Prap&ograve;<strong> (94)</strong><br /> 2010 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(91-93)</strong><br /> 2009 Barolo Lazzarito <strong>(92)</strong><br /> 2008 Barolo Lazzarito<strong> (90)</strong><br /> <br /> We currently stock the 2010 Serralunga and the 2010 Cerretta at Astrum (along with various other vintages of the wines listed above and indeed, other wines produced by Germano), and were therefore also thrilled with Galloni&rsquo;s written notes on these two wines. He describes the Serralunga, whose lifted aromatics consist of crushed flowers, red berries, tobacco and anise, as a gorgeous example of the firm tannins Serralunga is known for. Meanwhile, the aromas of smoke, tobacco, earthiness and iron in the Cerretta combine to make a &lsquo;distinctly ferrous and earthy&rsquo; Barolo with &lsquo;considerable mid-palate depth and power&rsquo;. This delicious wine's luscious<span style="line-height: 1.4;">&nbsp;aromas include both fresh red fruits and aromatic dried fruits with delightful additional notes of wild flower meadows, hay and almonds. Di Lenardo has achieved a delicate balance of robust fruit and crisp acidity, characterising the complex palate with flavours that mirror the wine&rsquo;s bouquet.</span></p>
